Description: Enjoy Kipona Festival’s Multicultural Corner, partially hosted by CWS Harrisburg! Meet the talented women and men that have joined our community over the last two years as they share their skills and talents with us. Enjoy demonstrations of Arabic and Persian calligraphy and Afghan ribbon embroidery. Experience Pakistani henna painting and Congolese hair braiding techniques. Talk to a Hispanic artist who is creating a painting. Try your hand at the Ukrainian chess table. (see the event brochure for scheduled times, which are subject to change)
Tickets open at our booth for our incredibly popular International Friendsgiving, with pickup meals available on November 23. We’re excited about this special menu designed by the talented women of CWS Marketplace, our women’s economic empowerment program.
