Church World Service Harrisburg, a refugee resettlement agency located in Harrisburg, provides additional support to refugees and immigrants who are experiencing severe medical and mental health challenges, need employment support and are interested in pursuing longer-term goals related to their integration in the community. We co-create plans with clients with a shared goal of self-sustainability.
A talented chef from Syria, enrollee of CWS Marketplace, will cater your 5-course take-out meal as part of the 4th Annual International Friendsgiving fundraiser, which highlights 5 different communities. Meals may be picked up from 2 - 5 PM on Saturday, November 22. No ticket is needed for pickup. Any cancelled orders will be considered donations to CWS Harrisburg.
There is an opportunity to donate to the food and housing fund at checkout, as well as to donate meals to refugees.
