We Need Your Help
CWS Harrisburg helps legal and well-vetted refugees resettle, integrate and thrive in a sustainable lifestyle. Right now it is the time to:
- Focus on our similarities- not our differences
- Respect the humanity of every person in our community
- Provide hope for the future
- Advocate for peace
- Make a plan to VOTE
With your donations, refugees' basic needs are supported including housing, ESL education, cultural orientation, school registration, employment support and more.
Support the Emergency Fund.
The Fund will be client-specific and used in a flexible way across transportation services and housing costs. Stable housing will positively influence their Social Determinants of Health, including their socioeconomic status, environment, neighborhood safety, social support networks, and access to resources to meet their daily needs.
Your donations will make an immediate difference in the lives of our most vulnerable clients who receive Intensive Case Management services such as:
- those with serious medical conditions
- those that struggle with mental health challenges
- single mothers
